Song of Songs

This video was created by Lacy for "Song of Songs" on the Lovefeast album. Produced through 8th Dimension film company, it is a dreamlike rendering of excerpts from the Song of Solomon, an ancient poem of transcendent love. The video had its broadcast premiere in 1992 as a selection of the "Independent Images" competition of WHYY/Channel 12, Philadelphia, and features the choreography and dancing of Ronen Koresh and animation by Tone Thyne.

This dance film by Cinzia Fasino was released in 1996. In that year it received a Finalist award at Houston Film Festival (USA) as well as First Prize in the Amateur category at Brno (Czech Republic), and was selected for public screening at Mondial de la Video in Brussels (Belgium), at Concorso Italia in Riccione (Italy), at Louisville Film & Video Festival (USA) and at Dance Screen in Lyons (France). Nocturnae is inspired by the biblical theme of the Annunciation. Choreography is by Murielle Melancon. Lacy portrays the role of Mary.
